How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator and close the water supply if removing the ice maker.
- Step 1 – Check ice maker switch: Ensure the ice maker is switched on via the control panel or mechanical switch.
- Step 2 – Inspect for jams: Remove the ice bucket and look for jammed cubes in the mould or auger. Clear any obstructions.
- Step 3 – Reset ice maker: Use the test/reset button if provided to initiate a cycle. Listen for motor movement.
