Possible Causes

Appliance not level, Loose adjustable feet, Refrigerator touching adjacent furniture, Loose internal components

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Take care when tilting or moving the refrigerator to avoid injury.

  • Step 1 – Level the unit: Use a spirit level on top of the fridge. Adjust the front feet until the unit is level side-to-side and slightly tilted back.
  • Step 2 – Isolate from cabinets: Ensure the sides and top are not in direct contact with cupboards or walls.
  • Step 3 – Check feet and rollers: Make sure all feet are firmly on the floor and that any rear rollers are not loose.
  • Step 4 – Internal items: Rearrange bottles and jars in the door and on shelves; glass items touching can amplify vibration noise.
