How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before probing the drain channel.
- Step 1 – Remove drawers: Take out the crisper drawers to expose the rear drain channel.
- Step 2 – Clear debris: Use a soft brush or pipe cleaner to remove food particles from the drain slot or hole.
- Step 3 – Flush with warm water: Using a syringe or small funnel, pour warm water into the drain until it flows freely to the rear drip tray.
- Step 4 – Check drain spout: At the back of the fridge, inspect the outlet spout and drip tray. Clean and reposition if necessary.
- Step 5 – Prevent recurrence: Avoid pushing food against the back wall and periodically clean the drain channel.
