Possible Causes
Failed LED light module, Shorted LED driver on main control board, Damaged light wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before working on lighting components.
Steps to check:
- Check door switches: Verify that door switches operate correctly and are not stuck, as they control interior lighting.
- Inspect LED modules: Look for flickering, dim, or non-functioning LED modules. Remove the lens cover and check for burnt or discolored components.
- Test replacement: Replace a suspect LED module with a new Thermador-compatible module. If the error clears and lights function normally, the module was the cause.
- Check wiring: Inspect the harness between the main control board and the lighting modules for damage or loose connections.
Note: If multiple modules fail simultaneously or E12 persists, the LED driver circuit on the main control board may be defective and should be serviced by a professional.
