Ice maker produces small or hollow ice cubes

Safety first: Turn off the water supply and unplug the refrigerator before working on the water system.

Steps:

• 1. Check shutoff valve: Ensure the household valve feeding the refrigerator is fully open.
• 2. Replace water filter: Install a new genuine V-ZUG water filter if your model uses one.
• 3. Inspect supply line: Look for kinks or sharp bends in the tubing behind the refrigerator. Straighten as needed.
• 4. Test inlet valve (advanced): If flow remains low, the water inlet valve may be partially blocked. Replace it with the correct V-ZUG valve.
• 5. Allow ice maker to cycle: After corrections, discard the first few batches of ice.
