• Check for external causes: Verify that the outlet is properly grounded and not shared with heavy inductive loads (e.g., large motors) that can cause surges. Try a different outlet if possible.
• Inspect the main PCB: Access the control board (usually behind a rear metal cover or in the top control housing). Look for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or signs of moisture ingress.
• Check connectors: Reseat all harness connectors to the PCB, ensuring firm contact and correct orientation.
• Replace the main control board: If visible damage is present or E6 persists after reseating connectors, replace the board with the exact Vestfrost part number. Transfer any jumper settings or wiring positions exactly as on the original.
