• Inspect magnet alignment: On models with hidden switches, ensure the door magnet (often in the gasket or door frame) is present and aligned with the sensor.
• Continuity test: Remove the switch and test for continuity with a multimeter while actuating it. Replace if it does not open/close properly.
• Check wiring: Inspect the harness from the switch to the control board for pinched or broken wires.

Corrective action: Replace the faulty door switch or magnet. After replacement, restore power and verify that the interior lights, fans, and door alarm operate correctly.
