Display shows E0 01 or similar, ice maker not producing ice.

Safety First: Turn off the water supply and unplug the refrigerator before disconnecting water lines.

Steps:

• Check water filter: If the filter is older than 6 months or water flow is weak, replace the Whirlpool EveryDrop filter with the correct model.
• Inspect fill tube: Look at the ice maker fill tube for ice blockage. If frozen, thaw gently with warm air and check for air leaks around the tube grommet.
• Test valve: Use the diagnostic mode to energize the ice maker valve. If it does not open and power is present, replace the water inlet valve.
• Verify pressure: Ensure household water pressure is at least 30 psi.
