Safety: Unplug the appliance before working in the freezer.
Steps:
- Remove drawers: Take out freezer baskets to access the bottom.
- Clear ice: Use warm water and a plastic scraper to remove ice from the bottom. Do not use sharp tools.
- Access drain: Remove the rear inner panel to expose the evaporator and drain trough. Locate the drain hole.
- Defrost drain: Pour warm water into the drain until it flows freely to the rear tray. Use a flexible plastic rod to gently clear stubborn blockages.
- Reassemble: Dry the area and refit panels and drawers.
