Possible Causes

Battery too cold or too hot, Faulty battery temperature sensor, Damaged sensor wiring, Battery stored below recommended temperature range

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not attempt to charge a frozen or overheated battery. Move the mower to a safe indoor area.

  • Normalize temperature: Bring the mower and battery to a room-temperature environment (15–25°C) and let it sit for several hours.
  • Attempt charge: Place the mower on the charging station and allow a full charge cycle. Check if E10 clears after the battery warms up.
  • Inspect sensor wiring: If the error persists at normal temperature, open the battery compartment and locate the temperature sensor wires (often thin leads from the pack to the main PCB). Ensure they are intact and connected.
  • Check for damage: Look for crushed or pinched sensor cables around the battery housing.
  • Replace sensor or battery: On many AL-KO packs, the temperature sensor is integrated into the battery. Replace the complete battery pack if the sensor is defective.
