Possible Causes
Damaged communication cable between station and gateway, Faulty RF or Bluetooth module in mower, Firmware incompatibility, Corroded connectors at station PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power from the charging station before opening it. Turn off the mower.
- Power cycle system: Turn off the mower and unplug the station for 1 minute. Reconnect power and turn the mower back on to clear temporary communication faults.
- Check station connectors: Open the charging station housing and inspect the connectors between the main board, power supply, and any communication modules. Clean and reseat them.
- Inspect cables: If your installation uses a separate gateway or extension cable, check for physical damage or crushed sections.
- Update firmware: If AL-KO provides firmware updates via app or service tool, ensure both mower and station are on compatible versions.
- Module replacement: If E14 persists and other functions are normal, the communication module (RF/Bluetooth) in the mower or station may be defective and require replacement.
