Possible Causes
Main power switch off or faulty, Completely discharged or failed battery, Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Faulty charging station or power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the charging station from mains before opening any covers. Do not short battery terminals.
- Check main switch: Verify that the mower's main power switch is in the ON position. Toggle it off and on several times.
- Charge battery: Place the mower on the charging station and ensure the station LED indicates charging. Leave it for at least 1–2 hours, then try to power on.
- Inspect power supply: Check the station's AC adapter and cable for damage. Test the outlet with another device.
- Check internal fuse: If you are experienced, open the mower housing and locate the main fuse on or near the PCB. Replace it with the same rating if blown. Investigate for short circuits if it blows again.
- Battery test: Measure battery voltage with a multimeter. If it is far below nominal or zero, the battery pack is likely defective and must be replaced.
- Service if still dead: If there is still no sign of life, the main PCB or power circuitry in the station may be faulty and should be diagnosed by an AL-KO service center.
