Possible Causes
Loose battery connector, Intermittent short in wiring harness, Failing main PCB, Vibration causing poor contact at connectors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the mower and remove it from the lawn before opening any covers.
- Check battery plug: Open the battery compartment and ensure the connector is fully seated and locked.
- Inspect wiring harness: Look for chafed or pinched wires, especially where the harness passes through moving parts or tight spaces.
- Reseat PCB connectors: Carefully disconnect and reconnect the main multi-pin connectors on the main PCB to improve contact.
- Vibration test: With the mower on a bench and powered (blades disabled), gently tap around the housing to see if reboots occur, indicating a loose connection.
- PCB replacement: If reboots continue after securing all connections, the main PCB may be defective and should be replaced.
