Possible Causes
Operating beyond maximum slope rating, Worn or inappropriate tires, Weight distribution altered by non-original parts, Slippery grass conditions
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not operate the mower on slopes where it can tip over; this is a serious safety risk.
- Check slope angle: Measure the steepest part of your lawn and compare with AL-KO's maximum slope specification. Exclude areas that exceed this limit by moving the boundary wire.
- Improve traction: Replace worn wheels and consider AL-KO high-traction wheels if available for your model.
- Adjust mowing direction: Lay the boundary wire so the mower travels across slopes rather than directly up and down where possible.
- Avoid wet conditions: Do not mow steep slopes when the grass is wet or slippery.
