Possible Causes

Defective power supply (charger), Damaged charging contacts, Faulty charging board in robot, Loose internal charging harness

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the charging station from mains before inspection.

  • Verify mains power: Check that the outlet has power and that any extension cord is working.
  • Check station LED: Confirm that the charging station LED indicates normal operation when powered (refer to Ambrogio manual for LED codes). If no LED, the power supply may be faulty.
  • Inspect contacts: Clean and visually inspect the charging contacts on both robot and station for pitting, burning, or bending. Realign gently if necessary.
  • Measure output (advanced): With a multimeter and proper precautions, measure the DC voltage at the station contacts. If no voltage is present, replace the station power supply or charging board.
  • Check internal harness: Inside the robot, verify that the charging contact wires are securely connected to the main board or dedicated charging PCB.

Warning: Mains voltage is dangerous. If you are not experienced, have a qualified technician test the charger.
