Water ingress in keypad, Damaged keypad membrane, Loose display ribbon cable, Faulty display PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from rain or wet grass.
- Dry the interface: If the robot was exposed to heavy rain, wipe the keypad or touchscreen dry and allow the robot to sit in a dry indoor area for several hours.
- Check for cracks: Inspect the display window and keypad for cracks or lifted edges where water could enter.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Open the top cover and locate the ribbon cable connecting the display/keypad to the main board. Reseat the connector carefully.
- Test buttons: Power ON and test each button. If some keys do not respond or E014 persists, the keypad or display PCB may need replacement.
