Possible Causes
Strong magnetic interference near lawn, Compass module miscalibrated, Compass cable loose, Faulty compass sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before moving it.
- Remove magnetic sources: Check for buried cables, metal fences, loudspeakers, or large metal objects near the working area that could disturb the compass. Relocate them if possible.
- Recalibrate compass: Follow the Ambrogio manual to perform a compass calibration routine (often involves rotating the robot slowly in a circle).
- Inspect compass module: Inside the robot, locate the small compass PCB and ensure it is mounted flat and its connector is secure.
- Test again: After calibration, run a short mowing cycle. If E015 returns, the compass module may require replacement.
