Robot lawnmower does not respond to rain sensor; continues mowing in heavy rain (on rain-sensor-equipped models)

Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before cleaning the sensor.

• Check settings: In the Ambrogio menu, verify that the rain sensor function is enabled.
• Clean sensor: Locate the rain sensor (often on the top cover) and clean it with a soft cloth to remove dirt and algae.
• Test with water: With the robot ON but stationary, drip some water on the sensor and see if it reacts (stops or returns to base). Dry afterward.
• Inspect wiring: Ensure the rain sensor cable is connected firmly to the main board.
• Replace sensor if needed: If there is still no response, install a new Ambrogio rain sensor module.
