Ambrogio
Perimeter Detection Too Sensitive / Wire Too Close
Robot lawnmower immediately reverses or turns away when approaching certain lawn edges, leaving a wide uncut border

Possible Causes
Perimeter wire too close to edge, High loop signal amplitude, Metal objects near wire, Incorrect boundary offset in settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before adjusting the perimeter wire.
- Measure distance: Ensure the perimeter wire is installed at the recommended distance from the lawn edge (see Ambrogio manual, typically 20–35 cm).
- Move wire outward: In problem areas, shift the wire a few centimeters away from the edge to allow the robot to get closer.
- Remove nearby metal: Take away metal edging, grates, or other conductive materials close to the wire that may distort the field.
- Check settings: If your model allows, adjust the boundary offset or sensitivity in the configuration menu.
