Possible Causes
Loose battery connector, Oxidized main switch contacts, Internal harness connector not fully seated, Hairline crack in PCB solder joint
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the lawn.
- Check battery plug: Open the battery compartment and ensure the battery connector is tight and free of corrosion.
- Operate main switch: Flip the main switch ON/OFF several times to clean contacts. If it feels loose or intermittent, consider replacing the switch.
- Inspect internal connectors: Open the top cover and gently press all multi-pin connectors into the main board to ensure they are fully seated.
- Monitor behavior: After reassembly, observe the robot during a full cycle. If random shutdowns continue, the main board may have an internal fault.
