Ambrogio
Reduced Runtime / High Power Consumption
Robot lawnmower runs for a very short time and returns to the base, even though the battery is relatively new

Possible Causes
Blade rubbing on chassis, Wheel bearings tight or seized, Grass buildup under deck increasing load, Incorrect battery type or capacity
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the lawn.
- Check for mechanical drag: Spin the blade disc and wheels by hand. They should move smoothly without excessive resistance. Investigate any stiff components.
- Clean underside: Remove thick grass buildup from under the cutting deck and around wheels. This reduces load on the motors.
- Verify battery specification: Ensure the installed battery pack matches the original Ambrogio specification for voltage and capacity.
- Recalibrate battery (if supported): Fully charge the robot, then run it until it stops from low battery, and fully charge again. This can help the BMS recalibrate on some models.
