Possible Causes
Mower lifted or tilted excessively, Faulty lift sensor, Loose lift sensor connector, Damaged chassis causing misalignment of sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch the mower OFF and remove the docking station power before inspection.
- Place mower on level ground: Ensure the mower is on a flat, stable surface with all wheels touching the ground.
- Check for obstructions: Inspect under the mower for branches, stones, or built-up grass that might hold the chassis at an angle. Remove any debris with gloves.
- Gently rock the mower: With power OFF, gently tilt and return the mower to level to free a possibly stuck tilt/lift sensor.
- Power back ON: Turn the main switch ON and see if the error clears.
- If E002 remains: The internal lift/tilt sensor or its wiring harness may be defective. This typically requires opening the housing and replacing the lift/tilt sensor module or checking its connector on the main control board. If unsure, contact Bosch service.
