Possible Causes

Blade disc jammed by branch or stone, Excessive grass buildup under deck, Worn or bent blades contacting deck, Faulty cutting motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF the main switch, remove the docking station power, and wait until all parts stop moving. Wear gloves.

  • Inspect the cutting disc: Turn the mower over and check for branches, stones, or toys wedged around the disc.
  • Remove debris: Carefully clear all obstructions. Do not pry against the motor shaft.
  • Clean the mowing deck: Scrape off packed grass from the underside using a plastic scraper. Avoid damaging sensors or paint.
  • Check blades: Ensure the small pivoting blades on Bosch Indego models swing freely and are not bent into the deck. Replace dull or damaged blades in sets.
  • Test rotation: With power OFF, rotate the disc by hand. It should turn smoothly without scraping.
  • If E005 returns: The cutting motor or its motor driver circuit on the main PCB may be failing and should be tested or replaced by a technician.
