Possible Causes
Boundary wire laid too close to metal fence, Nearby power cables causing interference, Loose boundary wire connections, Faulty charging station signal output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the charging station from mains before adjusting the wire.
- Check installation distances: Ensure the boundary wire is installed according to Bosch Indego guidelines (typically at least several centimeters away from metal fences, buried cables, or large metal objects).
- Inspect for twisted or looped sections: Avoid unnecessary coils or tight loops of wire that can distort the signal.
- Verify connectors: Replace any corroded or poorly crimped boundary wire connectors with new, gel-filled connectors.
- Test with simplified loop: Temporarily create a small test loop near the station and connect it instead of the full garden loop. If E008 disappears, the interference is in the garden layout; adjust routing accordingly.
- If interference persists even on a test loop: The charging station electronics may be faulty and need replacement.
