Possible Causes
Cutting deck jammed with grass or branches, Blade motor overloaded or seized, Worn blade bearings, Blade motor driver fault on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the main power and remove the battery or key if applicable. Wear cut‑resistant gloves before touching blades.
- Inspect cutting deck: Turn the mower on its side according to the manual. Remove packed grass, twine, or branches from around the blade disc and motor shaft.
- Check blade condition: Ensure blades are not bent, broken, or contacting the deck shell. Replace damaged blades and use only Cedrus‑approved blade kits.
- Spin test: With power still OFF, rotate the blade disc by hand. It should turn smoothly without grinding. If stiff or seized, the blade motor or bearings are likely damaged.
- Ventilation and grass height: If the mower stalls in very tall or wet grass, raise the cutting height one or two steps and mow more frequently to reduce load.
- Persistent E02: If the error returns immediately after clearing debris, the blade motor or motor driver on the main control board may need replacement by a service center.
