Possible Causes

Left or right wheel motor jammed with debris, Damaged wheel gearbox, Drive motor wiring loose, Motor driver failure on main control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the main power and keep the mower on a stable surface. Avoid placing hands near the blade area.

  • Check wheels for obstructions: Inspect both drive wheels for stones, branches, or compacted mud in the treads or around the axle. Remove any debris.
  • Free the gearbox: Gently rotate each wheel by hand. Both sides should turn with similar resistance. A wheel that is locked or very stiff indicates a gearbox or motor issue.
  • Inspect wheel motor cables: If accessible, open the side covers and verify that the left and right drive motor connectors are fully seated on the main board.
  • Test on flat ground: Place the mower on a flat area and start a manual drive or test mode (if available). Listen for motor noise. If one side does not respond, that motor assembly is suspect.
  • Do not force movement: Forcing a jammed wheel can damage gears. If E03 persists after cleaning, the affected wheel motor/gearbox or the main control board should be replaced by a technician.
