Battery Voltage Too Low / Deep Discharge
Robot mower display shows E08 and the unit will not power up fully; may shut down unexpectedly.

Possible Causes
Battery deeply discharged from long storage, Battery cells aged or damaged, Loose battery connector, Faulty battery voltage sensing circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and remove it from the lawn. Do not attempt to open the battery pack casing.
- Initial recovery charge: Place the mower on the charging station and allow it to remain connected for several hours, even if it does not start immediately. Some Cedrus models perform a slow recovery charge from deep discharge.
- Check battery connector: If user‑accessible, open the battery compartment and ensure the battery plug is fully inserted into the mower harness.
- Avoid cold storage: If the mower was stored in a cold shed, move it to a moderate temperature (10–25°C) for several hours before charging.
- Evaluate battery age: If the battery is more than 2–3 seasons old and E08 persists, replacement is recommended.
- Do not bypass protection: Never short the battery terminals or use non‑approved chargers. If a new Cedrus battery still triggers E08, the voltage sensing circuit on the main board may be defective and requires professional repair.
