Possible Causes
Non‑original battery pack without Cedrus ID, Battery communication cable not connected, Faulty battery management PCB, Incompatible firmware on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and remove it from the charging station before accessing the battery compartment.
- Verify battery type: Ensure the installed battery is a Cedrus‑approved pack for your specific model. Generic packs may not communicate correctly.
- Check battery connector: Confirm that both the power and communication connectors (if separate) are fully seated and oriented correctly.
- Reboot after install: After reconnecting the battery, wait 30 seconds, then turn the main switch ON and place the mower on the station to allow it to initialize.
- Firmware compatibility: If the main board was recently replaced, it may require configuration or firmware matching to the battery type. This must be done by an authorized Cedrus technician.
- Replace faulty pack: If E14 persists with a known‑good Cedrus battery, the battery's internal management PCB or the main board's battery interface may be defective.
