Possible Causes
Blades dull or damaged, Cutting height too low for grass length, Wet grass sticking under deck, Deck interior heavily soiled
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and wear gloves. Keep the mower stable before cleaning underneath.
- Sharpen by replacement: Replace dull or nicked blades with new Cedrus blades to restore clean cutting.
- Adjust cutting height: Raise the deck and mow more frequently so each cut removes less grass.
- Dry conditions: Avoid mowing when grass is very wet, as clippings tend to clump and stick.
- Clean underside: Scrape off built‑up grass from the underside of the deck using a plastic scraper. Do not use metal tools that may damage the deck.
