Possible Causes
Mowing when soil is too wet, Worn wheel treads, Cutting height too low increasing drag, Mower too heavy for soft area
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before adjusting settings.
- Avoid wet conditions: Schedule mowing for drier times of day and avoid operation immediately after rain or irrigation.
- Raise cutting height: Increase the cutting height to reduce drag and resistance on the wheels.
- Inspect wheels: Check wheel treads for wear or damage. Replace worn wheels with Cedrus replacements that provide better traction and distribute weight.
- Adjust boundary: Exclude very soft or newly seeded areas from the mowing zone by moving the boundary wire.
