Possible Causes
Missing or mismatched blades, Bent blade disc, Debris stuck on one side of disc, Loose motor mounting bolts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect power. Wear gloves when working near blades.
- Check blade symmetry: Ensure all blade positions on the disc are filled with identical Cedrus blades and screws. Replace any missing or different blades.
- Clean disc: Remove caked grass or mud from the underside of the disc to restore balance.
- Inspect disc for bending: Spin the disc by hand and watch for wobble. A bent disc should be replaced.
- Verify motor mounting: Check that the blade motor is firmly bolted to the deck and that no mounting rubber bushings are missing or damaged.
- Test run: After reassembly, run the mower briefly on a flat surface and observe vibration. Persistent strong vibration indicates the need for a new disc or motor.
