Possible Causes
Dirty or corroded charging contacts, Misaligned mower on charging base, Faulty charging station PCB, Damaged low‑voltage cable from power supply to base
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging station from the wall outlet before cleaning contacts. Turn the mower OFF.
- Clean charging contacts: On both the mower and the base, gently clean the metal contacts with a dry cloth or fine Scotch‑Brite pad. Remove oxidation but do not use aggressive abrasives.
- Check alignment: Ensure the base is level and the mower docks fully so that both contacts touch firmly. Adjust the base position if the mower tends to stop short or skewed.
- Inspect cables: Follow the low‑voltage cable from the power supply to the base. Look for cuts, crushed sections, or rodent damage.
- Verify power supply: Confirm the power supply LED is on and output voltage matches the rating on its label using a multimeter if available.
- Restart system: Plug the base back in, wait 30 seconds, then power ON the mower and dock it manually. If E005 remains, the charging station PCB or mower communication circuit may need replacement.
