Possible Causes
RTC (real‑time clock) failure on main PCB, Depleted RTC backup battery, Corrupted schedule settings, Firmware glitch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure mower is on level ground with blades stopped.
- Reset date and time: Enter the settings menu and set the correct time and date. Confirm the time zone if applicable.
- Reprogram schedule: Delete existing mowing schedules and create new ones according to your lawn needs.
- Power cycle: Turn the main switch OFF for 1–2 minutes, then back ON to reset the controller.
- Firmware update (if supported): Check Cub Cadet support for firmware updates via USB or app and apply as instructed.
If E010 returns and the clock resets after each power cycle, the RTC circuit or backup battery on the main PCB may need replacement by a service center.
