Possible Causes
Failed blade motor Hall sensor, Damaged sensor wiring, Magnet missing or misaligned on blade motor, Faulty main PCB input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF main power and disconnect the battery. Never spin the blade disc with power applied.
- Inspect blade motor harness: Access the underside and locate the blade motor connector. Check for loose or corroded pins and reseat the connector.
- Check for physical damage: Look for cut or pinched wires between the blade motor and main board.
- Spin disc by hand: Ensure the disc rotates freely; a seized motor can also cause sensor errors.
- Component replacement: If wiring is intact and E011 persists, the blade motor assembly (with integrated Hall sensor) is typically replaced as a unit on Cub Cadet models.
