Robot mower consumes battery very quickly and runs for much shorter time than before

Safety first: Turn OFF power and disconnect battery before mechanical checks.

• Check battery age: If the battery is several seasons old, plan to replace it with a genuine Cub Cadet pack.
• Inspect wheels: Spin drive and caster wheels by hand; they should rotate freely. Replace seized bearings or wheels.
• Replace blades: Install new sharp blades to reduce cutting load.
• Monitor runtime: After maintenance, fully charge the mower and time its operation. If runtime is still poor, the battery is likely at end of life.
