Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the main power switch OFF and remove the mower from the lawn. Wear cut‑resistant gloves before touching the blade area.
- Inspect the cutting disc: Turn the mower upside down on a soft surface. Remove any wrapped grass, twine, branches, or stones from around the cutting disc and motor shaft.
- Check blade condition: Replace any bent, cracked, or excessively worn blades. Ensure all blades are securely fastened and can pivot freely.
- Spin test: With power still OFF, rotate the cutting disc by hand. It should spin smoothly without grinding or tight spots. If it feels stiff, debris may be trapped around the motor hub.
- Cooling period: If the mower stopped after heavy grass, allow it to cool for 20–30 minutes before restarting. Overheating can trigger E02.
- Restart: Return the mower to level ground, switch power ON, and start a manual mow. If E02 appears immediately and the disc does not move, the motor or driver circuit may be defective.
Persistent E02 after clearing obstructions indicates a failing blade motor or mainboard. Replacement of the blade motor assembly is recommended.
