Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the main power and remove the battery connector before touching internal electronics.
- Inspect internal wiring: Remove the top cover and gently check all ribbon cables and harnesses between the mainboard, display board, and sensor modules. Reseat each connector.
- Check for corrosion or moisture: Look for green/white deposits on connectors or signs of water ingress. Dry carefully and clean light corrosion with isopropyl alcohol.
- Firmware reset/update: If Ecovacs provides a firmware update via app or USB, follow the official procedure to reinstall or update the firmware.
- Power cycle: Reconnect the battery, wait 30 seconds, then turn the mower ON and test operation.
If E11 continues after reseating connectors and updating firmware, the mainboard is likely defective and should be replaced as a complete assembly.
