Possible Causes
Magnetic interference near lawn (metal fences, buried cables), IMU module failure, Loose IMU connector, Firmware calibration lost
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before moving it or opening the housing.
- Remove magnetic sources: Check for large metal objects, speakers, or buried power cables near the charging station and boundary wire. Relocate the station if necessary.
- Perform calibration: Use the Ecovacs app or control panel to run the compass/IMU calibration routine, following on‑screen instructions.
- Inspect IMU module: With the cover removed, locate the IMU board and ensure its connector is secure.
- Test navigation: After calibration, start a short mowing cycle and observe whether the mower travels straight and turns correctly.
If E13 remains after calibration and relocation away from interference, the IMU module or mainboard may need replacement.
