Possible Causes
Dirt or grass covering front obstacle sensors, Sensor lens scratched or fogged, Sensor module internal failure, Sensor cable disconnected
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before cleaning sensor windows.
- Clean sensor windows: Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the ultrasonic or time‑of‑flight (TOF) sensor lenses on the front of the mower. Remove dried grass and mud.
- Inspect for damage: Check lenses for cracks or deep scratches that could distort readings.
- Check mounting: Ensure the sensor module is firmly mounted and not loose inside the housing.
- Verify wiring: Open the cover and confirm the sensor cable is securely connected to the mainboard.
- Test in open area: Power ON the mower and run it in a clear, obstacle‑free area to see if E15 reappears.
If E15 persists and the mower fails to detect obstacles, replace the ultrasonic/TOF sensor module.
