Possible Causes

Blocked ventilation openings, Operating in direct sun at high ambient temperature, Temperature sensor failure, Mainboard overheating due to dust buildup

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and allow it to cool in a shaded area before further inspection.

  • Check vents: Inspect all ventilation slots and grills. Remove grass, dust, and debris with a soft brush or compressed air.
  • Operating conditions: Adjust mowing schedule to cooler times of day (morning/evening) and avoid prolonged operation in direct sunlight on very hot days.
  • Inspect internal dust: Remove the cover and gently blow dust off the mainboard and heat‑sinking components.
  • Verify fan operation (if equipped): Ensure any internal cooling fan spins freely and runs when the mower is active.

If E20 occurs quickly even in cool conditions and vents are clear, the temperature sensor or mainboard may be faulty and require replacement.
