How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before cleaning or testing sensors.
- Test bumper: With the mower ON in a safe test mode, gently press the bumper and confirm it stops or changes direction. If not, inspect the bumper sensor assembly.
- Clean optical sensors: Wipe front sensor windows with a soft cloth to remove dirt and grass film.
- Check settings: In the Ecovacs app, ensure any obstacle avoidance features are enabled.
- Inspect sensor mounts: Verify that sensor modules are not loose or pushed back into the housing.
If the mower continues to ignore obstacles, replace the faulty bumper or obstacle sensor module.
