Possible Causes
Dull or chipped blades, Cutting height too low, Blade motor speed reduced due to wear, Excessive thatch or wet grass
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and wear gloves when handling blades.
- Replace blades: Install new Ecovacs blades if the existing ones show rounding, chips, or rust.
- Adjust height: Raise the cutting height and perform multiple passes over very tall grass.
- Schedule changes: Increase mowing frequency so the mower cuts smaller amounts each time.
- Dry conditions: Avoid mowing when grass is wet to reduce clumping.
If cutting remains weak despite new blades, the blade motor may be losing torque and should be tested or replaced.
