Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect the battery before handling internal wiring.
- Inspect battery plug: Ensure the battery connector locks firmly into the mainboard socket.
- Check for pinched cables: Look for harnesses that may be squeezed between housing parts, especially near the wheels and deck.
- Gently wiggle test: With the mower powered ON (exercise caution), gently tap or wiggle the housing near sensors and the mainboard to see if movement causes shutdown. This can help locate a bad connection.
- Reseat connectors: One by one, unplug and replug sensor and motor connectors on the mainboard.
If the mower continues to stop randomly without logging an error, the mainboard or a specific sensor may be failing and should be diagnosed by a technician.
