Possible Causes
Magnetic sensor interference, Faulty compass module, Loose sensor connector, Strong magnetic fields near operating area
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect the charging station before opening covers.
- Remove magnetic sources: Ensure there are no strong magnets, large speakers, or metal structures very close to the charging station or boundary wire that could disturb the compass.
- Inspect sensor module: Locate the compass/orientation sensor on the mainboard or as a separate module. Check that it is firmly mounted and its connector is secure.
- Calibrate if available: If the Einhell model supports compass calibration, follow the user manual to perform a calibration routine in an open area away from metal objects.
- Check for damage: Look for signs of impact or water damage around the sensor. Replace the module if it appears damaged.
- Test navigation: After adjustments, run a short mowing cycle and observe if the mower still spins or shows E15. Persistent errors indicate a defective sensor or mainboard.
