Possible Causes
Cutting disc jammed by stones or branches, Overgrown or wet dense grass causing overload, Blade motor overheating, Damaged blade motor or seized bearings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the main power and remove the charging station power plug. Wait until all parts stop moving before touching the underside.
- Clear the cutting disc: Turn the mower upside down. Carefully remove any branches, stones, rope, or built‑up grass from around the cutting disc and blade area. Use a wooden stick or brush, not your fingers, to free jammed objects.
- Inspect blades: Check that all Einhell replacement blades are intact, not bent, and can rotate freely on their screws. Replace any damaged or heavily worn blades as a set.
- Check disc rotation: Gently spin the cutting disc by hand. It should rotate smoothly without grinding or tight spots. If it is stiff, the blade motor bearing may be failing.
- Reduce load: If grass is very tall or wet, pre‑cut with a conventional mower to reduce load. Adjust cutting height to the highest setting and gradually lower over several days.
- Reset and test: Turn power ON, place mower on level lawn, and start a manual mowing cycle. If E2 reappears quickly, the blade motor or motor driver on the mainboard may be defective and require replacement.
