Possible Causes
Broken boundary wire, Loose boundary wire connection at charging station, Faulty boundary wire transmitter board, Corroded boundary wire connectors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging station from the mains before touching any wiring.
- Check boundary LED: Look at the LED on the Einhell charging station. If it is off or flashing (refer to manual), the boundary loop is open or shorted.
- Inspect connections: Verify that both ends of the boundary wire are firmly inserted into the charging station terminals. Tighten screws or clamps as needed.
- Look for visible damage: Walk the perimeter and inspect the boundary wire for cuts, chew marks (rodents), or damage from garden tools. Pay special attention to where the wire crosses paths, driveways, or flower beds.
- Repair wire breaks: If you find a break, strip back insulation and reconnect using waterproof Einhell‑compatible boundary wire connectors. Bury or peg the repair securely.
- Test again: Plug the charging station back in and check the LED. If the LED is solid and E6 clears, the issue is resolved. If not, the transmitter board in the charging station may be defective and require replacement.
