Possible Causes
Battery pack fully discharged or defective, Main power switch faulty, Internal fuse blown, Loose battery connector inside mower
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the mower from the lawn and place it on a stable surface. Disconnect the charging station from mains before opening the mower.
- Check main switch: Ensure the main power switch is in the ON position. Toggle it several times to clear oxidation.
- Test charging: Place the mower in the charging station and verify that the station LED indicates charging. If the station shows normal operation but the mower remains dead, suspect internal issues.
- Inspect battery connection: Open the battery compartment and confirm that the battery plug is firmly connected and there are no burnt marks or corrosion.
- Measure battery voltage (advanced): With a multimeter, check the battery pack voltage. If it is far below the rated voltage, the pack may be deeply discharged or damaged and should be replaced.
- Check internal fuse: If your Einhell model has an internal fuse, test and replace it with the exact same rating if blown. If the new fuse blows immediately, there is a short circuit that requires professional diagnosis.
