Possible Causes
Moisture ingress into electronics compartment, Corroded PCB connectors, Firmware corruption, Failing main control board on Flymo robot chassis
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower, remove it from the lawn, and disconnect from the charging station.
- Dry the unit: If the mower has been exposed to heavy rain or sprinklers, allow it to dry indoors at room temperature for 24 hours before further use.
- Inspect seals: Check the top cover, keypad, and charging port seals for damage that could allow water in. Replace damaged gaskets where possible.
- Reboot and reset: After drying, turn the mower ON and perform a system reset according to the user manual (if available). Re‑enter settings if required.
- Check for corrosion: If you are comfortable opening the housing, inspect the main PCB for white/green corrosion or burnt components. Light surface corrosion can sometimes be cleaned with electronics cleaner, but severe damage requires board replacement.
- Persistent E10: If the error returns frequently, the main control board is likely defective and should be replaced with a Flymo‑approved spare.
