Possible Causes

Mower operating in direct strong sunlight, Blocked ventilation around electronics, Faulty internal temperature sensor on PCB, Battery overheating during charge

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and allow it to cool or warm to normal ambient temperature.

  • Move to shade: If the mower or charging station is in direct midday sun, relocate the station to a shaded area and schedule mowing for cooler times.
  • Check vents: Inspect any ventilation slots for blockage by grass, dust, or spider webs. Clean gently with a soft brush.
  • Battery temperature: If the mower becomes very warm during charging, allow it to rest and ensure the station is not enclosed in a small, unventilated space.
  • Restart: After the mower has returned to a moderate temperature, switch ON and resume operation.
  • Sensor fault: If E12 appears even at normal temperatures, the internal temperature sensor or PCB may be faulty and require professional replacement.
