Possible Causes
Faulty Hall sensor in drive motor, Damaged motor encoder magnet, Broken wiring to drive motor, Main PCB motor control fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the mower and place it on a bench.
- Check wheel play: Excessive wobble or looseness can damage internal encoders. Tighten any accessible wheel fasteners according to the manual.
- Inspect motor cables: Look for pinched, cut, or abraded cables leading to the drive motors.
- Swap sides (advanced): On some models, left and right drive motors can be swapped to see if the error follows the motor. This should only be done if you are comfortable with disassembly.
- Service: If E15 persists, the affected drive motor assembly (including encoder) or the main PCB must be replaced. This is typically a workshop repair.
